The Speed Track European Series is an international speed skating tournament hosted by six European countries, with six official competitions, each with its own tracks, climates and challenges.
The circuit starts in the Iberian Peninsula. Gijón (Spain) hosts the historical Throphy “Villa de Gijón”. In Lagos (Portugal), the Terras do Infante competition is organized by Roller Lagos and bring the Algarve’s sun to the circuit. In an urban context and with a mild climate, this competition promises emotion and excitement.
Senigallia (Italy) is the next stop, with a mediterranean track, and then Worgl (Austria), with the unique ambience of the Alps defying athletes’ performances.
The circuit continues in Heerde (The Netherlands), a competition known for its fast track where each one-tenth of a second is important, and ends in Zandvoorde (Belgium), where the Flanders Grand Prix, held in one of the most classic sceneries of this sport, combines tradition and exigency.
Each track has its own “personality” — some promote pure speed, others demand strategy and resistance, celebrating the competitive spirit in different climates and European landscapes.
With regular attendance by European and world champions, the Speed Track European Series is described by the skaters as a true competitive adventure.
In 2026, Lagos asserts itself as an European meeting point of this sport, offering the audience the chance to witness international intensity and speed.
