Terras do Infante is one of the most known international speed skating competitions. Held in Lagos, Portugal, every year it gathers hundreds of athletes, clubs and technical teams from several European countries. With more than two decades of history, this event has established itself as a meeting point of this sport, combining high performance, the training of young athletes and a strong connection to the territory. All this contributes to the projection of the sport in Portugal and of Lagos has a sports and tourism destination.
The Speed Track European Series is an official European circuit of speed skating on tracks, integrated in World Skate Europe’s international calendar, the entity that regulates the sport at a continental level.
This circuit gathers some of the most important European competitions on tracks and is held in several countries. It gathers athletes form Cadet, Youth, Junior and Senior categories. It allows athletes to compete at the highest level, gather points for international rankings and establishes the technical and competitiveness development of speed skating in Europe.
Roller Lagos is the club that organizes Terras do Infante, a national reference in the promotion of speed skating.
Other than this sport, the club also develops other skating sports, establishing a firm commitment to the training and development of young athletes.
