The International Speed Skating Tournament “Terras do Infante” is the biggest speed skating event held in the Iberian Peninsula. Its 19^th edition, held in Lagos from the 5^th to the 7^th of April in 2024, was part of the 2^nd stage of the European Speed Skating Cup, gathering athletes of different ranks and including events of 100 meters and the Cidade de Lagos Marathon. Promoted by Roller Lagos Clube de Patinagem, with the support of Município de Lagos, this event was held in the tracks of Escola Secundária Júlio Dantas and Avenida dos Descobrimentos.
